Another week, another US Coffee Champs announcement. This time it’s for Cup Tasters. Taking place March 26th through 29th, the 2026 US Cup Tasters is heading to the Black & White Coffee Roasters HQ in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Coming a week afterward, Cup Tasters follows the Brewers Cup to Raleigh; both will take place concurrently inside the Black & White HQ, which was home to last year’s US Barista Championship. This year’s Cup Tasters will feature 48 competitors, including three reserved spots for the 2025 Finalists, who will have 48 hours to claim before they are made available to other competitors.

Registration for Cup Tasters opens today, February 2nd, and can be completed here. Like with previous competitions, an online learning session will be held for all competitors, per the Instagram post announcing the event. Currently, the date of the learning session is unknown, and if tradition holds, it will be recorded and made available to those unable to attend.
