The US Coffee Championships news continues to trickle out. Having already announced the host locations for three competitions—Latte Art, Coffee in Good Spirits, and Roasters—Coffee Champs have made public information about the fourth. Taking place March 26th through 29th, the 2026 US Brewers Cup is heading to the Black & White Coffee Roasters HQ in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The announcement came down via Instagram on Friday evening, during the traditional news dump hour, where entities drop all their bad news in an attempt to hide it. Except it’s not bad news. It’s good news. It’s the Brewers Cup!
This year’s competition will feature 24 competitors from around the country. And like the prior announced events, six of those spots will be reserved for Brewers Cup Finalists from the 2024 and 2025 season; any spots unclaimed by the prior Finalists within the 48-hour reservation window will become open registration.

Registration for competitors and volunteers opens Monday, February 2nd at 1:00pm CST and can be done here. As with the other 2026 competitions announced, US Coffee Champs will be hosting an online learning session, this on February 18th at 6:00pm EST. An email will be sent out with information to all confirmed competitors. The session will be recorded and made available for those unable to attend.
This now leaves only two competitions left to be confirmed for the year, Cup Tasters and the Barista Championship. Roasters was announced two weeks ago, with Coffee in Good Spirits and Latte Art a week before that. So it certainly feels like the date and location information for those is imminent, more than imminent. Certainly makes the Friday evening doomscrolls a lot more fun.
