Breaking tonight via direct contact, Cafe Imports have announced the lovely nation of Costa Rica as their destination for the annual Barista Champs Origin Trip and Official Victory Lap. From Noah Namowicz, pal o’ Sprudge and Cafe Imports yeoman:
This year’s winning baristas will be coming to Costa Rica with Café Imports and we are partnering with Francisco at Exclusive Coffees to be our on the ground host. Should be an incredible trip.
Right now, since the WBC is in July 2012, this trip would be Early in 2013.We just decided this and finalized things with Francisco, so we all thought this would be Sprudge-worthy.
