The 2025 US Coffee Championships season is officially underway. Competition kicked off in Houston at the first weekend of November with the Regional Qualifier for the US Roasters Championship, followed shortly thereafter November 8th through 10th with the Regional for the Latte Art Championship in Lincoln, Nebraska. (You’d be forgiven for not being entirely locked in yet because of certain other major news events.)
But now the Regionals have kicked into high gear over the last weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina with not one, but two competitions. Hosted at Black & White Coffee Roasters HQ, both the Barista Championship and Brewers Cup held their first Regional rounds of the 2025 season, sending 18 coffee professionals—12 in Barista and six in Brewers—through to the National stage, joining the 15 competitors from Roasters and Latte Art who have already punched their tickets.
We’re about to get into the teeth of the Regional Qualifiers, but first let’s take a look at everyone who has already made it to the Nationals of the 2025 US Coffee Championships.
