Flashback: David Lynch Sells Japan A Damn Fine Cup Of Coffee

The 90s were so, so cool…

” You say drink coffee, I’ll drink coffee.”

“Black as midnight on a moonless night.”

“Once a day, give yourself a present: two cups of good, hot, black coffee.”

“Damn good coffee! And hot!”

From i09.com:

In 1993, David Lynch directed a series of Japanese coffee spots that piggybacked on the success of 1992’s Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me in Asia. The commercials featured Kyle MacLachlan and company solving mysteries and pounding canned bean juice.
