Sabrina Carpenter is the queen of the coffee tie-in. The Grammy Award-winning singer of 2024’s song of the summer—if not the whole year—Espresso has collaborated on coffee ice cream, a coffee pop-up with Verve, even a coffee perfume. Which, if I write a song with over two billion spins on Spotify and another 377 million on YouTube, you better believe I’m cashing in on even the most loosely-related word associations that I can.
And so if you are experiencing a bit of ear wear, from either the song or the tie-ins, I have some bad news for you. Sabrina Carpenter has made a very cool coffee item, a limited-edition vinyl that has coffee in it.
As reported by Billboard, the record was made in collaboration with the UK-based Blood Records, who create unique vinyl offerings, most famously the white-power filled remix of Charlie XCX’s Brat. The 12″ release is in honor of the one-year anniversary of Espresso and is limited to a run of just 1,000 pressings. And honestly, it looks kind of amazing.

Bad news for would-be collectors, though. Even if the £40 price tag didn’t scare you away, the release sold out within minutes. But there’s always the secondary market and its hefty markup, which I’m sure you’ll start to see around July 4th when the vinyl is officially released. Still there is all sorts of coffee-adjacent Sabrina merch for all you Carpenter Heads, like an espresso martini candle and an espresso cup and saucer. But if you absolutely must listen to Espresso on vinyl, which is the only real way to listen to saccharine sweet pop music IMO, then you’ll just have to settle for a traditional pressing.
