La Marzocco And Porsche Team Up For A 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Espresso Machine Collection

What is it about La Marzocco and Porsche that just works so well together? Maybe it’s the timeless styling or the affinity expressive colors, but when the two brands collaborate the results are always eye-catching. We saw it with their first collaboration for the 911 Carrera RSR Linea Micra a few years back and then again earlier this year when Officine Fratelli Bambi created a one-of-a-kind Linea Mini based on a 1979 Porsche 911.

And now the two companies are coming together again for a new collection, this one based on the 911 Carrera RS 2.7.

The 911 Carrera RS 2.7 has a bit of a cult following amongst car enthusiasts. Created in 1972, Porsche made only 500 of them and it quickly become “a coveted road-legal sports car thanks to its rigorous lightweight construction, striking design and strong performance.” It also holds the distinction of being the first 911 with the Carrera name.

And so to celebrate the icon, Porsche is creating an entire line of products, including apparel, accessories, miniatures, and espresso machines. For the collection, La Marzocco has created three 911 Carrera RS 2.7-inspired colorways for the Linea Micra and Pico grinder. They come in Tangerine Grand Prix White and Green, and in a German exclusive, Grand Prix White and Blue. Each are limited to 911 units with the exception of the Germany-only release, which is just 150.

Design details on the machine include “Carrera RS” written along the side of the espresso machine like it does on the sports car, “RS” and “2.7” on the knobs for the water and steam valves, an RS 2.7 badge, and the logos for both brands.

Retailing for €5,790 ($6,470 USD) and €1,550 ($1,730 USD), the Linea Micra and Pico, respectively, are available for purchase via the Porsche webstore and select Porsche Centers and Design Stores.

It’s another covetously good collaboration between La Marzocco and Porsche, one that has me deeply wishing I had a PO Box in Berlin or some other type of espresso machine mule (and you know, like ten grand). For more information or to check out the full 911 Carrera RS 2.7, visit Porsche’s official website.
