The Minneapolis-based coffee roaster manufacturer is driving across the country in the Big Red Roast Rig and right onto the show floor at the Javits Center in Manhattan. Show visitors can step onto the truck to learn more about the company’s commercial roasting equipment and their proprietary roasting software, RoastPATH.
“The Coffee Fest shows have been growing in attendance every year that we’ve been involved, and we’re really excited to see where the shows are heading,” remarks Lauren Lathrop, Director of Education at Mill City. “The four locations for Coffee Fest make it easy for people to attend since many people can drive to a location near them”, Lauren continues, “it’s a fun and accessible show full of great exhibitors. There’s so much value for attendees to learn and meet with potential partners for their business.”
Coffee Fest markets itself as a business resource for the specialty coffee community. With an average attendance of over 2,000 people per location, it’s a place where business owners can see new equipment, meet with allied product partners and equipment vendors, and attend educational sessions on topics ranging from retail cafe business to online marketing. The dates for New York Coffee Fest are March 23-25.
Mill City Roasters’ class line-up for Coffee Fest features paid workshops on Designing a Production Roast Profile and Roasting Rare, Unusual, and Challenging Coffees. General attendance ticket holders can also attend free seminars during regular show hours covering green coffee inventory management, wholesale business growth, building a quality control program, and how to choose the best roasting system for your company.
Mill City will host daily live roasting demonstrations with Q&A sessions twice daily and you can catch a few members of their team on the discussion panels hosted at the Coffee Fest Conversation Corner. For more information, follow Mill City on IG @millcityroasters or go to Coffee Fest’s website.
