La Marzocco Announces The Launch Of All-New App

Scarperia (Florence), Italy – March 18, 2025 | La Marzocco, a Florence-based company that has been a leader in espresso machine production since 1927, is happy to announce an all-new iPhone and Android app. This app replaces the existing La Marzocco Pro and La Marzocco Home apps to bring both Home and Professional espresso machines into one digital ecosystem.

The new La Marzocco App offers the same features as previous versions for compatible espresso machines, including eco-mode programming, updating settings, and dose programming, but it also includes brand-new functionality. The app now directly connects to both the Pico Grinder and Swan Grinder, allowing users to update settings and dose programming for both grinders.

An all-new feature of the La Marzocco App is Coffee Station, which allows users to group coffee equipment into specific Coffee Stations. Home users can pair their La Marzocco Linea Mini, Pico Grinder, and La Marzocco connected scale, and café owners can pair their compatible professional La Marzocco espresso machine with a Swan Grinder and La Marzocco connected scale.

Coffee Station unlocks new Grind-by-Weight functionality for the Pico Grinder and Swan Grinder when paired with a La Marzocco Connected Scale, where the grinder automatically stops based on the target weight of coffee in the portafilter. With a Linea Mini and Pico Grinder, it also allows the La Marzocco Connected Scale to switch between Grind-by-Weight and Brew-by-Weight modes seamlessly.

With professional espresso machine and Swan, Grind-by-Weight automatically tracks the number of burr revolutions as it grinds by weight to save your programming if the scale needs to be charged. For more info:
