Helping Japan: Rosettas For Relief In Kansas City

Aaron Duckworth has organized an event to help raise money for aid in Japan:

Pórtico Café in Kansas City is hosting a market-wide Rosettas For Relief event. Rosettas For Relief will be held on April 3rd from 6-9 p.m. at Portico Café (8720 E. 55th Street Kansas City, MO 64129-2618) and will feature a head-to-head Latte Art Throwdown…as well as a Brewer’s Cup-style Throwdown.

If you’re not in the Kansas City Metro Area, there are many more ways to help Japan during this crisis. Ayumi Hamasaki is selling t-shirts, proceeds going to aid efforts. You can also donate money to the Japanese Red Cross. Or, if you prefer, you can donate to numerous reputable charities through PayPal, Google, or Apple.

We’re always inspired by baristas who go out of their way to organize events for a good cause. Let us know if you’re planning on putting together an event in your area.
