East London-based alternative milk company Minor Figures is shipping out a new set of plant-based nitro-infused canned coffees to US retailers later this month. The team has paired their oat-based beverage (styled m*lk to avoid legal battles from the dairy industry) with four flavors: Mocha (chocolate, coffee), Matcha (green tea), Chai (spiced black tea), and Latte (coffee).
The drinks are suitable for vegans (plant-based, no animal products) and the team has made efforts to make the packaging sustainable. The cans have the familiar Minor Figures illustrations of Andrew Rae in welcoming pastel colors.

Tell us about the new line of canned coffee and tea drinks!
These babies are brewed for many hours at our microbrewery in East London via our slow-and-cold method. This process yields a less acidic style of the coffee, while also capturing the purity and depth of flavors.
Who designed the packaging?
Our characters are designed by the infamous Andrew Rae, but the packaging is all done by our absurdly talented in-house creative team.
Why aluminum cans?
They’re 100% recyclable and therefore have a significantly smaller carbon footprint compared to plastic.
Where will the new drinks be available?
Technically, they’re available as we speak at select natural food stores/coffee shops. For all the online shoppers, February 1, 2021.
What’s next for Minor Figures in the US?
Continue to dip our toes into new retail opportunities, both large and small scale. You can also catch us supporting the greater coffee community by working with our friends in shops around the country to bring some oat m*lk to every single latte, mocha and cap.
What’s next for Minor Figures in the world??
Dance our way around it.
Thank you.
