We are submitting the 12oz and 5lb packaging of Madcap Coffee’s sub-brand, dito coffee, for consideration for the Outstanding Packaging: Whole Bean award.
Designed by Madcap Brand Designer Grant Wortley, dito’s packaging is intentionally opposite that of Madcap’s. The goal was to create packaging that felt friendly, playful, and approachable no matter where a consumer is in their specialty coffee journey.
dito’s packaging utilizes bouncier shapes and lowercase letters all in candy-coated colors. A simple guide is present on the label – are you looking for a coffee that is comforting, deep, and rich? Perhaps you’d rather sip on something on the opposite side of the scale, fruitier, brighter and more fun.
And don’t forget to peer through the see-through windows scattered about the 12oz bag to see the coffee beans inside.
