Onyx’s new coffee packaging seeks to turn more honor and attention to what’s inside the box – the coffee, a beautiful result of the land, the hard work of producers, and the roaster’s careful decision making. This packaging is Onyx’s expression of the intersection between intentional design, new levels of transparency and data sharing, and a commitment to providing thoughtful educational resources and new opportunities for enjoyment. The optimal infusion of all these components leads to the presentation of more information than ever before while also making sure the most foundational aspect of Onyx’s brand is so clear, you can see it right through the bag (quite literally).

Concealed inside each new uniquely designed box is a new transparent pouch proudly preserving your coffee of choice. The bag features a classic one-way gas valve as well as a highly-requested resealable zipper, adding a distinct element of convenience and maintained freshness.

The latest edition of Onyx packaging is designed to highlight the countries where the coffee is produced. To honor the beauty and uniqueness of what is being produced all over the world, each new single-origin box is color-coded and adorned with reference to a particular country of origin. Now, a wealth of knowledge native to Onyx’s website has been directly transplant onto the physical packaging. To accomplish this, included in each single-origin 10oz box of coffee is an interactive card unique to each offering that features detailed producer info, brewing tips, note-taking opportunities, and more.

In addition to new blend and single-origin packaging, Onyx also introduced two new lines of exclusive offerings to be expanded alongside the traditional rotating menu. With Experimental releases, Onyx dives deep into state-of-the-art techniques in coffee processing and agronomy, highlighting the paragons of advanced fermentation and exotic varieties within our industry. In Voyage, Onyx ventures to the world’s most obscure origins, microclimates, and subregions in search of rare and extraordinary offerings that lie in wait.
