The 2014 World Coffee In Good Spirits Championships pits champion baristas from around the world against each other to create the most delicious, inventive combinations of coffee and alcohol. From an overall field of 17 competitors, six finalists have now been chosen to compete on Finals Sunday, happening tomorrow, May 18th at the 2014 Melbourne International Coffee Expo.

This post is just the beginning of WCIGS coverage on Sprudge, which in the coming days will include in-depth cocktail recipes for the benefit of barista / bartenders around the world. You can also follow along yourself live at the World Coffee Events Livestream here.

Sprudge.com’s coverage of World Coffee In Good Spirits Championship is made possible by direct support from our friends and partners at Dalla Corte, whose DC Pro espresso machine anchors the 2014 WCIGS and 2014 World Latte Art Championship. Our coverage is produced in partnership with World Coffee Events, the international organization that stages these competitions each year. Finals Sunday at WCIGS starts tomorrow at 12pm (AEST). Let’s meet the finalists!
