When you walk a beat, you need a good pair of shoes. So when your beat is coffee news, what you need is some high quality coffee shoes news. And this week brings a fresh pair of coffee shoe stories from some of the biggest brands in footwear.
First up is Nike. After multiple successful coffee colorway releases over the past few years—including the Coffee Pack, a caffeinated color scheme on three of the brand’s classic silhouettes: the Daybreak, the Air Max 97, and the Air Force 1 Low—Nike is back at it again with the “Legend Coffee” variant of their Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2. Per Sneaker News, the sneaker is an “off-shoot of the ’85 original” and features a mix of suede and leather for the upper. The shoe’s “Sail” hue—a soft white of sorts—gets offset with an all new color, the aforementioned Legend Coffee.
The release date for the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 Legend Coffee has yet to be announced, but Sneakers News sets the timeline as “soon”. Once released, they will be available for purchase from Nike’s official website or via partnering Jordan Brand retailers for $150.
If you’re looking for something a little less earth tone-y in your coffee kicks, New Balance may just have the shoe for you, for half the population at least. For their all-new Fresh Foam X 1080v12, New Balance is set to release a Blue Bottle Coffee variation.
Per Sportskeeda, the newest rendition in the running shoe/trainer line features an all-white hypoknit upper, a Fresh Foam X sole and EVA foam midsole, and color pops in the form of Blue Bottle’s recognizable color scheme. The large “N” logo on the outside of the foot as well as the “new balance” on the inside feature baby blue, with the brand’s blue bottle logo stitched into the back in the same color.
The New Balance Fresh Foam X 1080v12 Blue Bottle Coffee came available today, August 1st, for $179.99. But, as Sportskeeda notes, they are only available in women’s sizes. Which really just means that if you want a pair, you need to know where your foot falls in that particular sizing scheme. The Blue Bottle Coffee variation is available via New Balance’s official website and select New Balance retailers.
