STL Coffee Fest Comes To St. Louis Later This Month

stl coffee fest stl coffee fest

St. Louis, Missouri, the Gateway to the West. In terms of coffee it is perhaps not as well-known nationally as the city on the other side, Kansas City, but STL is nonetheless loaded with coffee roasters both established and upstart. And they are all coming together on Saturday, February 22nd for STL Coffee Fest. Taking place at the 18Rails event space inside City Foundry STL, STL Coffee Fest will be a day of workshops, coffee classes, and a whole lot of coffee from some of the city’s best.

It’s a fairly stacked lineup of coffee roasters that will be in attendance to offer up their brews. Big names like Blueprint, Kaldi’s, and Goshen are already confirmed, with a host of other locals like Teleo, Idle Roasting, La Cosecha, and more also attending. There will be tea from Traveling Tea and chai from Nari, bites from Baked & Boiled Bagels, Bread & Bake, Serendipity Ice Cream, and Taco Buddha, and even a coffee whiskey from Sol Luna.

The event, which will broken down into two sessions—10:00am to 1:00pm and 1:30pm to 4:00pm—features hourly coffee talk workshops, that discuss “topics like bean origins and selection, roasting processes, home brewing methods, and more.” And for those looking to get real nerdy, there are barista-driven interactive coffee courses, covering topics that include coffee cupping (led by Goshen), espresso (led by Kaldi’s), and pour-overs (led by First Crack Coffee).

Or, if you are just looking to party, The Buzzed Bar—”where coffee culture and cocktail artistry come together”— will be open for the entirety of the event, where attendees can “’purchase cocktails and mocktails highlighting the versatility of coffee.”

Tickets for STL Coffee Fest are $30 and are available for purchase via their website. Tickets for the add-on events, like the interactive coffee courses, are also available for $25.

It’s all going down Saturday, February 22nd at 18Rails inside City Foundry STL. For more information, visit STL Coffee Fest’s official website.
