Seattle’s Vif Wine|Coffee is one of the few establishments to be featured on both the wine and coffee sides of the Sprudge Media empire. They are smack dab in the middle of our wheelhouse and for good reason; their excellent coffee and food menu is only eclipsed by an exciting list of minimal intervention wines. And on Sunday, July 29th, Vif is sharing that excitement with Summer Soif, a parking lot party highlighting local natural wine producers from Washington and Oregon (and a few Italians winemakers for good measure).
Vif is no stranger natty wine garden parties. For the past two years their La Petite Soif has been the biggest minimal intervention wine extravaganza in Seattle. Summer Soif, a July companion piece to the September shindig, looks to be no different. Vif has invited some of the biggest names in Pacific Northwest natural wine to come in person and pour their wines. According to their website, winemakers (and one importer) in attendance include:
Omero Cellars/Minimus
Division Wine Making Company
Savage Grace Wines
Jackalope Wine Cellars
Golden Cluster
St. Reginald Parish
Bow & Arrow Wines
Art and Science Cider
J.K. Carriere Wines
Dragon’s Head Cider
Haden Fig
Viola Wine Cellars
Beckham Estate Vineyards
Avennia
Iuli
Fattoria San Lorenzo
Louis/Dressner Selections
Summer Soif kicks off at 1:00pm on Sunday, July 29th in the Vif Wine|Coffee parking lot. Tickets for the event are priced at $25 and can be purchased via Brown Paper Tickets. For more information, visit Vif’s official website. And bring a sun hat!
