You might know him from his hilarious work on Parks and Rec and his massively successful stand-up tours, but specialty coffee baristas around America know Aziz Ansari as “that guy who asked for an outrageous drink.” During at least one of several recent espresso bar stop-offs on his comedy tour, Mr. Ansari did explicitly order the following:
That order looks a little something like this:
- Two ounces of cold non-fat milk in a to-go cup
- Ice cubes
- Espresso shot served separately
We’re told Aziz then adds sugar to his espresso, stirs using the demitasse spoon, pours it directly over the milk ice, and knocks it back. Outrageous! Delicious! We love it!
