Providence, RI – Olam Specialty Coffee (OSC) welcomes Ana Mallozzi to its Providence, Rhode Island, office as a Junior Coffee Trader. Mallozzi brings over 10 years of coffee and tea experience to her new role at Olam.

Says Rob Stephen, Managing Director for OSC, “Ana’s experience in coffee is a great match for our team and, with an emphasis on coffee education and quality control, a great match for our coffee roaster customers.”

Mallozzi returns to Rhode Island where her coffee career began at New Harvest Coffee Roasters in 2012. Since then, her achievements have included CQI Arabica Q Grader Certification, SCA Roaster Guild Level 2 Certification, SCA Barista Guild Level 2 Certification, and SCA Instructor Certification. She has been a contributor to Barista Magazine and a presenter at SCA Expo, M.A.N.E Coffee Conference, and Coffee Fest New York.

“Being a coffee trader has been a goal of mine for a long time and I’m so excited to work with Olam,” says Mallozzi. “Having worked for coffee roasters in the past, I’m familiar with that business in terms of both success and challenges.
