Christmas came early for customers at Toastface Grillah, an urban grilled-cheesery serving Northbridge Coffee Roasters in Perth. NME reports that yesterday Wu Tang rapper Ghostface Killah surprised guests with an impromptu live performance. Local DJ L Street called the performance “timeless”.
Hunky DJ Kyran Wheatley (above) at the Triple J radio station claims to be responsible for tipping off Mr. Killah. In a tweet, DJ Wheatley explains, “I told @GhostfaceKillah about @TFgrillah & then he played there. Insane.”
Triple J reports that the rapper delighted fans with stirring renditions of ‘Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthin’ To F#$* With’, Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s ‘Got Your Money,’ and ‘C.R.E.A.M.’
