St. Ali’s Curated & Seasonal Babycino Menu Is The Best Thing You’ll See All Day

Babycinos in Australia are something of a phenomenon, and cause quite an impressive amount of discussion, be it about the price of the babycino, the all-important “froth factor,” or the reticence of any cafe who dares not to offer them. One such business, St Ali North, under longstanding pressure from the parental contingent that patrons the cafe (not to mention one particularly scathing reviewer on Urbanspoon), have pushed back and brought their frothy child-friendly milk game to a whole new level with a dedicated Babycino Menu.

The menu has a surprisingly large paragraph explaining exactly what goes into the cup—which is, you guessed it, frothy milk—as well as options for garnish (chocolate dust, grated chocolate or rainbow sprinkles) and accoutrement (marshmallow, freckle, or jelly baby). To test out this brand new menu, we at Sprudge decided to bring in the most discerning judge imaginable. Someone with opinions that reflected the babycino’s target market. Someone adorable, preferably: a 1-year-old boy by the name of Alfie.

Alfie’s mum Amy readies his bib, in preparation for the babycino onslaught.
