The holiday season Down Under is a little weird. Well, it’s not weird for them; they’re used to it being summer in December. But even for me a Texan—living in a place where any winter day could still be hotter than Melbourne that same day, where it is summer—knowing that a white Christmas will forever remain in dream status for my Australian kin doesn’t exactly put me in the holiday spirit. Luckily, the folks over at Five Senses Coffee are here to imbue a little Yuletide cheer, seasonality be damned! They’re giving away a single-group Synesso MP Hydra, and if that’s not enough for you heart to grow three sizes, then you’re dead inside (and probably outside too).

It’s part of Five Senses Sunshine, Surf, and Synesso giveaway, and entering couldn’t be easier. All you have to do it buy something, anything, from their online store. And the more times you buy, the more times your name is put in the drawing. Buying a cupping spoon on Monday? That’s an entry. Buying a six-pack of their cascara saison collab with Black Brewing Co on Tuesday? That’s an entry. Picking up a Five Senses crewneck sweatshirt on Thursday? That’s an entry. Referring a friend online who then makes their first purchase any day of the week? Oh you better believe that’s an entry.

Along with the Hydra, the winner of the Sunshine, Surf, and Synesso contest will also receive “standard dual cartridge water filtration,” delivery, and installation, totaling over $15,000 AUD ($12,000+ USD). Sorry non-Australians, this contest is limited only to those on the island.

All orders made until 10:00am WST December 22nd will be receive an entry for the drawing. The winner will then be announced on Monday, December 25th, a day I can but assume was chosen arbitrarily, holding no cultural significance whatsoever. It’s a something-something miracle!

For more information and a full set of rules, visit Five Senses official website. While you’re there, maybe buy a milk pitcher and will your way into winning a new espresso machine.
