November is the beginning of the festive season, by which of course I mean that there are a number of coffee festivals happening all over the globe. And not just festivals, there are educational summits, competitions, and hangs. That’s why we’re checking in with the Sprudge Coffee Events Calendar, our free-to-use compendium of coffee gatherings of all manner.

A big week in Singapore
It’s all coffee all the time in Singapore this week. It kicks off today, November 4th with the ASEAN International Coffee Summit, “a three-day premier coffee industry gathering bringing together global coffee leaders, producers, traders and innovators in Singapore” taking place at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre. Then, the following day, November 5th, Singapore Coffee Week kicks off in the same location. It brings together coffee professionals and enthusiasts alike to explore some of the best roasters in the country.
The DMV double
The DMV Coffee and Chocolate Festival has not one but two different events lined up for the next two weekends. It’s starts November 7th and 8th for the Maryland leg. Taking place at the Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse in Boyd, the DMV Coffee and Chocolate Festival brings together over 120 local vendors “featuring a curated selection of craft chocolate and specialty coffee ready to be sampled and savored.” Then the following weekend, the festival crosses the Potomac for the Virginia event. Happening at the Dulles Town Center Expo in Sterling, this time the festival includes over 200 vendors.
And one in Jacksonville too
Speaking of east coast coffee and chocolate festivals, down in Florida there’s one more weekend of coffee. The Jacksonville Coffee and Chocolate Festival takes place November 21st and 22nd at the Prime F. Osborn Convention Center and brings together over 100 craft chocolate and specialty coffee vendors under one roof for two days of tasting.
A coffee brunch
There’s no better way to start your weekend than with a nice breakfast, ideally one that starts around 11:00am or so. Ergo, brunch. And in Brooklyn, Poursteady is teaming up with Loveless Coffees for a coffee brunch. Happening November 7th at 11:30am, the brunch will be three courses featuring food by Babydudes, each paired with Loveless coffess brewed via a Poursteady. Check out the course list or buy tickets here.
Ecuador Coffee Masters
On November 14th, Ecuador Coffee Masters is heading to Guayaquil for a lively blend of coffee festival, educational event, and coffee competition. The main event is the competition, that brings together 12 finalists—”selected in a virtual qualifying round”—to compete live in five different disciplines: The Order (six drinks in eight minutes), Latte Art, Cupping, Filter Coffee, and Signature Beverage.
An origin trip to Bali
If you’ve ever wanted to check out a working coffee farm, SeedFuture may have just the event for you. Taking place November 21st through 24th, SeedFuture is taking a “small-group field journey into the highlands of Bali, where coffee, cacao, forest and water turn out to be the same story.” Learn more about coffee production from the families who have spent generations doing it. Spots are limited.
