2013 was a huge year for specialty coffee–everywhere you turned people were opening jaw-dropping new cafés, hosting bigger and better barista competitions and latte art throwdowns, gathering together amazing experts at ever more serious, high-production conferences and events, and above all, making all sorts of crazy tasty coffee beverages.
It was a lot to take in, and it can be easy to forget all the weird, wacky and wonderful things that happened in the last 12 months. Sprudge did our best to document it all with insight, wit, and occasional cat interludes.
