World of Coffee is heading to Scandinavia. It’s been eight years since the Specialty Coffee Association’s premier event series took place in the northern bloc of Europe’s coffee-loving countries—in Gothenburg, Sweden for the 2015 WoC—but it is now set to return again in 2024, this time to Copenhagen, Denmark.

Announced today, World of Coffee Copenhagen joins outings in Dubai and Busan occuring in 2024, making it the first year that the SCA will hold three separate events. Taking place June 27th through 29th at Bella Center Copenhagen, the newest addition to the global coffee calendar will host three World Coffee Championship events: World Latte Art, World Coffee in Good Spirits and World Coffee Roasting Championships.

In the press release, SCA CEO Yannis Apostolopoulos states:

The destination for Europe’s premier coffee trade show in 2024 is the dynamic capital city of Copenhagen, Denmark. A global leader in culture, quality of life, sustainability, and the arts, the Danish capital is also renowned for its refined specialty coffee culture and approach to business, technology, design, and trade… World of Coffee Copenhagen joins two other recently announced destinations in the World of Coffee 2024 portfolio: Dubai, United Arab Emirates in January, 2024 and Busan, Korea in May, 2024 and contributing to World of Coffee’s global reach and accessibility.

It’s going to be an action-packed 2024 for the World of Coffee, culminating in an event in one of Europe’s great coffee cities. For more information, visit World of Coffee’s official website.
