Summer is here. It’s time to let down what little hair I have left on my head, kick back, and enjoy some fun, some sun, and a little cold brew coffee kombucha. Fortunately for us, London’s MOMO Kombucha and Tate Galleries paired up to make a delicious new entry to the ever-so-exciting ready-to-drink category. Using Rwanda coffee from Tate’s Gender Equality Project (and with eye-catching art inspired by Matisse), the drink is a combination of a sencha-based kombucha and cold brew coffee. Probiotics, a double buzz, and perhaps a walk around the gallery to enjoy some art? Heaven!
We spoke with Alex Godfrey, Director of Right Hand PR, to learn more.

Tell us a bit about what’s in the bottle!
Josh Puddle, Co-Founder of MOMO Kombucha says, “We began with a light, refreshing sencha tea as our base: delicate enough to let the fruity notes of the coffee shine through. After a series of cuppings, we selected a naturally processed Rwandan coffee with vibrant notes of strawberry, nectarine, and oolong; creating a well-rounded kombucha with a distinctive coffee flavor with caramel notes that soften the tangy kombucha base, befitting of Tate Modern’s 25th birthday and the truly special Matisse which we have been privileged to use as part of our label.”
How long have you been working on this project?
