Copenhagen – Phil & Sebastian, Calgary, Canada-based coffee roaster, will be hosting an exclusive coffee tasting with legendary producers, Ratibor Hartmann and Mauricio Shattah, at Coffee Collective Carlsberg Byen on Wednesday, June 26th. This event will be kicking off the “CC & Friends” roaster takeover series at Coffee Collective for the upcoming World of Coffee in Copenhagen. The series will also feature cafe takeovers from Tim Wendelboe, Heart Coffee, Switch Coffee Tokyo, Monogram Coffee, and Barista Hustle.

Ratibor Hartmann and Mauricio Shattah are world-class coffee producers. Their coffees have won national competitions, in Panama and Colombia, as well as being used by top baristas and brewers in the finals of WBC and WBrC multiple times. They’ve been working with Phil & Sebastian since 2010 and are unveiling two awesome coffees for this event – the Hartmann Reserve Washed Geisha and La Negrita’s Natural Red Geisha. Phil & Sebastian will also host a third tasting with five of the top Costa Rican coffee producers: Kevin Naranjo, Tacho Solis, Allan Oviedo, Luis Monge, and Francisco Mena – all of whom have been working with P&S for several years.

Phil & Sebastian has a long history of deep relationships with coffee producers and a rigorous coffee sourcing ethos. They’re excited to showcase these exclusive coffees from two of the world’s top producers during World of Coffee. Founded in Calgary by Phil Robertson and Sebastian Sztabzyb in 2007, Phil & Sebastian has been driven by one core tenet: “The standard for coffee is too low. We’re here to raise the bar.” They’ve since traversed the globe, forged strong relationships with dedicated growers, created a custom-built production roaster, and pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in coffee.
