Hot on the heels of christening their new mobile espresso truck, we’re breaking the news today that Portland, Oregon’s Water Avenue Coffee have teamed up with Enso Winery to bring a new coffee bar component to Enso’s “Urban Winery and Tasting Lounge” space at 1416 SE Stark in the Buckman neighborhood of SE Portland. Visitors can expect a fully operating espresso and coffee bar service from out of Enso’s roll-up garage doors, in all the tree-shaded glory of that particular block of SE Stark.

The plan is for a series of collaborative tastings as well as wine and coffee pairing options, according to Water Avenue owner Matt Milletto. “It’ll be a mini version of what we do here at Water Ave, but with a bigger focus on tastings,” Matt told Sprudge. As for the gear on hand, expect high-end equipment like Mazzer grinders, Chemex hand-pour and Fetco batch brew, alongside “a baller espresso machine.” and other accoutrements. As per Matt Miletto: “Our goal with Enso is to provide an outlet for great coffee, and to work closely with a wine maker and coffee roaster to explore our similarities and revel in the differences.”
