Welcome to the 17th Annual Sprudgie Awards Presented by Pacific Barista Series. The Sprudgie Awards returns to honor leadership and excellence across the world of coffee.
Nominations are now open at the 17th Annual Sprudgie Awards!
Annual coffee industry awards include Notable Roaster, Notable Coffee Producer, Best New Product, Best New Cafe, Outstanding Cafe Sustainability Award, Notable Coffee Event, and Outstanding Achievement. The Sprudgies also include our annual media awards, which honor Best Coffee Video or Film, Best Coffee Writing, Best Coffee Book or Magazine, Best Social Media, and Best Coffee Podcast.
We’re thrilled to announce a new category this year—Notable Coffee Influencer—celebrating those whose voice, creativity, and engagement have significantly shaped coffee culture in the digital space. We’ve created this new category to further recognize the important role digital influencers to play in the international coffee space, and to allow the category for Best Social Media to highlight the equally important digital storytelling done by brands, coffee companies, non-profits and organizations across the social media sector.
We are proudly partnered with Pacific Barista Series to bring you the 17th Sprudgie Awards, and the entire process is free to enter and open to all. There is no fee to submit a nomination, and no membership required to vote, all thanks to the ongoing community support of Pacific Barista Series, whose bedrock support of this initiative makes our annual work possible.
This year’s nominations process is now open! Following the open nominations process, we’ll whittle down to a final list of finalists, and open that up again to a popular vote. Open nominations close Friday, December 5th at 11:59 PM PST. Finalists will be announced on Wednesday, December 10th.
