We’re a month away from the start of the 2020 London Coffee Festival and with it comes the return of Sprudge’s live coverage of the blow-by-blow of the original Coffee Masters. Now entering its sixth year, Coffee Masters has established itself as one of the most daunting coffee competitions to take part of and one of the most dazzling to watch. It draws in some of the best coffee competitors from around the globe: World Barista Champion and national Barista, Cup Tasters, and Brewers Cup champion names are all over the Coffee Masters alumni list, and that’s just the folks who have won!

And hoo boy is the list of competitors for London 2020 stacked. There are national latte art champions like Adlher Miko Simangan, Brewers Cup champions like Lisa-Laura Verhoest, Coffee Masters veterans like Claire Wallace, a Sprudgie Award winner in Alan Jarrar of @50percentarabica, and even the 2019 World Aeropress Champion Wendelien van Bunnik. There are so many names folks familiar with coffee competition already know that a formal introduction seems unnecessary. But even still, we’re pleased to announce the 16 folks taking part in the 2020 London Coffee Masters. Let’s meet them (and their signature drinks), shall we!
