19 competitors took the stage for Round One of the 2025 US Barista Championship at the Black & White Coffee Roasting HQ here in Raleigh, North Carolina. And after nearly seven hours of high-caliber barista routines, the dust has settled, the scores have been tallied, and we know who is moving on to tomorrow’s Semi-Finals round.
12 of those that went today were able to make it through to the Semis. There, they will meet the other six competitors, who earned a bye to Day Two by placing in the top three at one of the two Regionals that took place earlier this year. So let’s meet them all, shall we?
