The holidays are right around the corner—and they are going to be great this year, why wouldn’t they be great? I for one can’t wait to hear all the insightful, nuanced thoughts on current events after a few eggnogs free us all from that last little bit of discretion keeping us from saying what we’re really itching to. It’s going to be great.

Still, there are some holiday traditions that lack the tumult. One of them is The Peanuts. Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Peppermint Patty, Pigpen, the entirety of Charles Schulz’s—easily my favorite Schultz/Schulz—iconic comic strip is a timeless staple of holiday viewing. Having the warm glow of A Charlie Brown Christmas playing in the background, listening to the Vince Guaraldi Trio’s O Tannenbaum or Linus & Lucy, it’s a universally beloved tradition this time of year.

And now The Peanuts are coming to coffee, thanks to a limited edition holiday collaboration with who else but Onyx Coffee Lab.

Let’s be honest, when it comes to collabs in the coffee space, no one does it better—or more often—than Onyx. The Arkansas-based roaster has created coffees for bands like Animal Collective, August Burns Red, and Lecrae. They’ve teamed up with racecar drivers and dancers. They’ve worked with other coffee brands like Cxffee Black, Big Face, and Proud Mary, and collabed with New Belgium on a beer. They even have their own limited edition series of guitar pedals with Walrus Audio that are entirely better than they have any business being. So if anyone is going to do The Peanuts right, it is Onyx.

And right they have. The Peanuts x Onyx collection has a host of holiday-themed offerings, including box sets, coffee, apparel, and drinkware. Both giving Snoopy the Onyx treatment and Onyx the Snoopy treatment, the collab features a variety of designs for all fans of Peanuts and coffee (but not peanuty quaker coffee). The Joe Cool Carter mug is maybe collab perfection in insulated mug form. There are hats and sweatshirts and tees with original Peanuts holiday-themed designs that are well-appointed hits of nostalgia. And there are a few gift ideas in there as well, including the Peanuts instant coffee advent calendar, the Woodstock & Snoopy gift set, and the always classic Peanuts holiday coffee mug.

It is without question, no less than the second greatest Peanuts collaboration in history.

I have already put in my order for the Snoopy Happy Camper hat, and not just because I’m dissociating and trying to buy brief dopamine spikes. It’s because it’s a good hat and I am a happy camper and will continue to speak it into existence. The full line of the limited edition Peanuts x Onyx Coffee Lab collection can be found here.
