Steaming hot news coming out of Atlanta today as Eater reports that Revelator Coffee Company is acquiring Octane Coffee Company. There have been unconfirmed rumblings in the Southeastern coffee scene about the purchase, but no official reports have surfaced until now.
According to Eater:
The six Octane coffee bars will join the existing eight Revelators across the southeastern United States. Eater notes that “Revelator will operate 17 cafes (15 across the Southeast and two more in Massachusetts after recently acquiring Boston-based Wired Puppy Specialty Coffee & Tea).” According to the article, Revelator will also use the acquisition as a chance to “fold Octane’s beer, wine, and cocktails to its business model.”
