It’s that time again: The 2015 World Barista Championship is now upon us, bringing 49 of the world’s best baristas to Seattle, Washington, for a no-holds-barred tournament of coffee prowess. For the fifth consecutive season, Sprudge will be providing exhaustive live coverage of the WBC event, produced in partnership with our sponsors at Square, Urnex Brands, Nuova Simonelli and Viora Lid. Our coverage of the 2015 WBC happens live all weekend long on Twitter at @SprudgeLive, with daily recaps at SprudgeLive, and winner profiles right here on Sprudge.

A points-based tournament of rounds, Round 1 at the WBC begins Thursday, April 9th, at 8:15 a.m. PST. On Saturday, April 11th, we’ll see the Semi-Finals round of 12 before the field is whittled down to just six competitors on Finals Sunday, April 12th.
