We’re only halfway through the World level of competition for the 2023 Coffee Championships, but, at least here in the United States, it’s already time to start looking ahead to what is in store for 2024. And with that in mind, the US chapter of the SCA along with the US Competitions committee have announced the locations for the 12 Preliminary Events kicking off the 2024 season.

Announced Monday, July 17th, the US Coffee Championships have unveiled the 12 stops the Preliminaries will make where participants get their first chances to earn their way to the Qualifying Events. Taking place between August and October, each of the six disciplines—Barista Championships, Brewers Cup, Coffee in Good Spirits, Cup Tasters, Latte Art, and Roasters Championship—will have no fewer than two preliminaries (CIGS and Latte Art), with some, like Barista and Brewers, having more, five and four, respectively. Cup Tasters and Roasters both have three each.
