Skip Finley is a coffee lifer. Now a part of Dalla Corte, Finley has been a part of the coffee industry for over 20 years, and has been involved with the Roasters Guild, the US and World Barista Championships, and even helped create the back-on-again US Latte Art Championship.

And now he needs our help. Finley is currently battling cancer that has already caused him to lose half of his left lung and five lymph nodes. But Finley’s struggles continue as he undergoes multiple rounds of chemo and radiation therapy. The fight against cancer isn’t cheap and thanks to all the medical procedures, Finley hasn’t been able to earn an income, making him unable to cover the costs.

Here’s where you come in. A GoFundMe has been set up to raise $50,000 for Finley. According to the campaign, the money will go toward:

advert new rules of coffee now available

Help with the debt already owed from previous medical treatments to fight this disease

Help support his family while he undergoes new, experimental treatment that does not allow him to work

Help with bills and medical costs not covered by insurance

Help remove part of the incredible stress to improve his chances for success

Help him marry the woman he loves who is seeing him through this ordeal

Thus far, a little over $5,000 has been donated in just five days. If you are able, please consider giving to help a man who has given so much to the coffee industry. And if you are unable to donate, please share the GoFundMe on social media to raise awareness for the campaign.

We’re pulling for you, Skip.
