Faculty Evacuates Princeton, Krugman Evacuates Faculties

New York Times op-ed columnist and blogger Paul Krugman (aka Krugie Howser, Freddy Kruger, or simply “Kroogs”) is taking shelter in a coffee shop near Princeton after a campus-wide evacuation due to a bomb threat. This is one of several bomb threats reported this week in the United States at college campuses and airports, because the United States occasionally just loses its collective marbles like that.

In a short post, Krugman explains that he won’t be blogging in the coffee shop. This strikes us as peculiar – we blog in coffee shops all the time! Does his shop not have WiFi? Was he too intimidated by the cute barista to ask for the password? Or is he simply taking a half-day while housing an extra large double chocolate mocha?

We tweeted at him. No response as of yet.
