Slow Coffee Festival May 31st – June 2nd

Romania, Bucharest, 29 May – This weekend, Bucharest will host the 8th edition of the Slow Coffee Festival, a premier event dedicated to specialty coffee. Running from May 31st to June 2nd, the festival seeks to challenge industry norms and find innovative solutions to current challenges, with a strong focus on sustainability and community engagement.

For the second year in a row, the festival will be held without the use of single-use cups, emphasizing the importance of eco-friendly practices. “How can we take this initiative to the coffee shop level? We need to find the answer together with our community and our customers,” says Laura Roshanian, organiser.

The Slow Coffee Festival will gather a diverse group of enthusiasts, coffee geeks, champions, consumers, and future consumers. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day and promises a rich agenda of workshops, panel discussions, and hands-on experiences.
