The Colorado Coffee Show is a vibrant, one-day event scheduled for September 14, 2024, at the Gaylord Rockies Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado. Geared toward café owners, distributors, grocery buyers, and other coffee professionals, it promises to be a standout gathering for the state’s coffee community.

One of the event’s highlights is the Latte Art Throwdown, sponsored by Brew Grind Water, which will supply AREMDE Stylus espresso machines for the competition. This contest offers participants a chance to demonstrate their mastery of espresso-based drinks and compete for a $10,000 cash prize. “Espresso State of Mind” is handling this competition, focusing on the artistry and precision of pouring beautiful latte art designs.

The show is not just about competition; it’s also packed with educational workshops and networking opportunities. Industry leaders like Ali Scrable of First Crack Coffee will be teaching latte art, while other sessions will include topics like “Starting Your Own Roasting Brand” by Collin Bay, insights into beverage trends by Jess Villano, and strategies to add non-coffee drinks to a café’s menu by Hannah Adkins.

In addition, the Cold Brew World Championship, sponsored by Toddy Cold Brew Coffee, is another major event, offering another $10,000 prize. More than 50 Colorado-based roasters, including Corvus Coffee Roasters, Conscious Coffees, Solar Roast Coffee, and Novo Coffee, will host tastings and activities.

Attendees can choose between general entry tickets for $60 or VIP passes for $90, which include early entry, access to all workshops, and the chance to win a customized Barbie-themed La Marzocco Linea PB espresso machine.
