Do you love cold brew but hate teeth? Got a crisp tenner just burning a hole in your pocket? If so, then head on down to New Jersey an experience curated to all your deepest wants and desires. Inside the American Dream mall in East Rutherford, Oreo has opened its first Oreo Cafe, and you can buy a $9 cold brew there.
The Oreo frosted cold brew is “vanilla soft serve ice cream blended with cold brew syrup, Oreo cookie pieces, and topped with whipped cream” and costs $8.99. The cafe also serves drip coffee for $2.99 a cup. Yelp Elite Instagrammers snapped a pic of the Oreo Frosted Cold Brew here.
As reported by the Food Network, the new Oreo Cafe opened earlier this month on the third floor of the IT’SUGAR store (literally, three stories. Hansel & Gretel beware), and it’s about as saccharine sweet as it sounds. The “first-of-its-kind treats bar” boasted over 200 possible Oreo-based dessert combinations, like waffle sundaes with Oreo pieces, Oreo cookies and cream cheesecake with Oreo cookie mousse, and something called the Oreo Doughnut S’Morewich, made of “scoops of Oreo ice cream sandwiched between chocolate waffle cone pieces, and topped with a giant marshmallow, a glazed doughnut, chocolate sauce, blue and white sprinkles and an Oreo cookie.”
Truly there is no experience more quintessentially American than sucking down 1,000+ calories of caffeine and sugar inside the third story of a sugar store at a mega mall in Hoboken, New Jersey.
