Procession Coffee has been slinging drinks in the Denver area for close to two years now. In that time, they’ve developed a bit of a cult following, thanks in small part to their “get a Procession logo tattoo and receive free drinks for life” program. (The number of wilted-flower-in-broken-vase tattoos on their Instagram goes to show how beloved Procession has become in a short amount of time.)

Building off their popularity, the coffee company has opened their second cafe in as many years, this one in the Highlands area of Denver. Brand-forward and indebted to a punk ethos, Procession is bringing their strong identity to a residential part of the city. There goes the neighborhood, in the best way possible.

As told to Sprudge by Joshua Bosarge.

Can you tell us a bit about the new space?

The new space is nestled in the Highlands residential neighborhood of Denver.

Any machines, coffees, special equipment lined up?

We work off of a La Marzocco GS3, and offer a large range of pour-over options.

How is your project considering sustainability?

We are looking into compost options, but not much more (would love that though).

What’s your hopeful target opening date/month?

End of August 2023

Are you working with craftspeople, architects, and/or creatives that you’d like to mention?

We are totally DIY, and working on this project ourselves. (Would love to one day!)

Thank you!
