When you think of Oktoberfest, what do you think of? Probably lederhosen, large steins of beer, polka music maybe. But what about coffee? For this year’s Oktoberfest, La Marzocco is teaming up with German fashion retailer Lodenfrey for a limited-edition capsule and custom espresso machine that celebrates “the longstanding connection between Munich and Italy—and the way both cities bring people together around food, drink, and shared moments.”
The collaboration harkens back to the “Italian Weekend,” the second weekend of Oktoberfest when upwards of 100,000 Italian tourists head to Munich for the festivities. For their 2026 Oktoberfest collection, Lodenfrey is working with a “curated mix of local institutions and selected partners,” one of which is La Marzocco. For LM, it’s a chance to “spotlight another side of Oktoberfest: the culture of hospitality that exists beyond beer, and the role coffee plays within Munich’s broader social, culinary and cultural landscape.” In the capsule includes a La Marzocco Oktoberfest beer stein, machine espresso cups, a cap, and a reversible dark brown and orange bomber jacket. The dark brown side features La Marzocco’s lion logo on the front as well as the expanded logo on the back with “Da Firenze a Monaco di Baviera” on the back.

Coinciding with the release, La Marzocco has put out a Munich City Guide that spans “cafes, restaurants, bars, hospitality destinations, and cultural institutions” that “reflect the character of the city today.” And of course there’s a custom espresso machine.
For the festivities, La Marzocco has created a one-of-a-kind Linea Micra “inspired by the visual language of the merchandise collection as well as Munich, Bavaria, and Oktoberfest.” It will be on display at the Lodenfrey Oktoberfest pop-up and one lucky attendee will be taking it home. Lodenfrey will host a public raffle throughout the festival season, with the winner being announced on October 1st, also known as International Coffee Day.
The rest of the collection is a Germany exclusive and is available in-store or via the webstores for Lodenfrey and La Marzocco. For more information, visit La Marzocco’s official website.
