I think we can all agree that Office Space was the beginning of the end of Michael Bolton being taken seriously as a singer. Or maybe it was when he cut his not-so-luscious mullet. Either way, the Grammy-winning singer has become somewhat of an adult contemporary punch line for misplaced 90’s popularity, the JNCOs of easy listening. But Bolton has taken it all in stride, parodying his sex-symbol-for-your-mom status in a song with The Lonely Island and even releasing Michael Bolton’s Big, Sexy Valentine’s Day Special on Netflix, which is as ridiculous as it sounds.

And recently, Bolton brought his hijinx to the coffee shop. In a video for Vanity Fair, the quite talented “no talent ass clown” can be seen donning the apron at Alfred in Los Angeles to sing coffee orders to unsuspecting patrons.

The video has all the hits: “Will, Iced Latte For You,” “Ten Dollar Latte For Greg,” and “Iced Hazelnut Latte (With Soy Milk).” And Bolton of course brought the house down at the end of his set with “When A Man Loves A Latte.” I guess what I’m trying to say is that CUSTOMERS AT THE ALFRED ON MELROSE PLACE ORDER A LOT OF LATTES.

In the end, Bolton says he had a lot of fun but that he won’t be quitting his day job. What that day job is exactly is anyone’s guess.
