Spooky may not be the first word that most people think of when they hear “autumn” and “coffee” in the same sentence. This is a sentiment that the Marketing Team at Partners Coffee were determined to rethink, reestablish, and rebrand. Their imagination and effort led to the creation of Partners Coffee’s Halloween Specialty Instant Coffee collection as a tandem treat of spooky fun for all.
This creative lineup was inspired by nostalgia for the classic seasonal cereal box characters adorning grocery store shelves during the Halloween season. Each of Partners’ Halloween Specialty Instant Coffee offerings matches a Halloween “persona” with complimentary copy used on the packaging, in marketing materials, and the website product pages created to further enhance the motif of these special releases.
The Partners Coffee Education Team followed suit with the creation of corresponding recipes like “Vampire’s Kiss” & “Spooky Butter Latte” for each of the featured Halloween coffees to expand upon the now established profiles and themes. These Specialty Instant Coffee Boxes sold out within days of their initial launch and have now entered the pantheon of annual releases.
