Bay Area coffee types, round 3 of the Bay Area Coffee Community’s latte art series is going down tomorrow night (Thursday, March 21st) at Contraband Coffee Bar (1415 Larkin Street), with sign ups at 6pm. Attendees will enjoy a host of refreshments, including free kebabs, frozen custard, Fair Trade chocolate and Rip Van Wafels.

The standings so far have Ritual Coffee Roasters barista Cesar “Che” Garcia in first place, with a perfect 200 point score (Mr. Garcia was the victor at games 1 and 2); he’s followed by Joshua Bonner (Stanza Coffee) and Demart Denaro (Blue Bottle) with 75 points apiece. BACC works on an aggregate, as points carry over from round to round, so this is still anybody’s game.
