Nescafail: Shards Of Glass Found In Nestle Flavor Crystals

NESTLE has recalled some of its instant coffee products after they were deemed a danger to consumers.

Coffee drinkers were warned yesterday that some Nescafe instant coffee jars could contain pieces of glass.

Nestle Ireland is recalling 100g jars of Nescafe Alta Rica, Alta Rica Decaff, Cap Colombie, Suraya and Espresso after a small number of injuries in other countries involving pieces of glass.

Update: Recalls expanded worldwide to  South Africa, Botswana, Namiba, Lesotho, Swaziland, Russia and Canada! Glass-packed Nescafe is now banned in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
