Rarely does one remark, “I wish I could be in Minneapolis in January.” But if you are in fact wintering in the Twin Cities, and in need of furthering your coffee education, there’s a great event coming up you should check out. Joe Marrocco and Noah Namowicz from Cafe Imports are teaming up with Keith Mrotek of Dogwood Coffee and Gordon Bellaver from Bull Run, to host a big ol’ education event and offer BGA Level 1 certification. Noah from Cafe Imports passed this little tidbit along to us:
We have had an awesome response so far, and much to our surprise two of the top restaurants in the Twin Cities, Tilia and Victory 44 are both sending a slew of their staff to get better educated about coffee and barista skills. I have to say…that culinary element that has suddenly been added to this event was super unexpected and could be really promising for having awesome coffee at these incredible restaurants.
The event goes down January 20th-21st at Cafe Imports (2617 E Hennepin Ave Minneapolis). Event listing is here, and registration is now open.
