In the Arrested Development episode “Missing Kitty” (Season 1, Episode 18), a series of bizarre events leads Tobias Fünke (David Cross) to become the leader of a prison gang known as “the Friends of Dorothy.”
At the 16:30 mark in this episode, Tobias “buys” the incarcerated patriarch of the Bluth family, George Bluth Sr. (Jeffrey Tambor), in exchange for a french press. “Remember to let it steep for 5 minutes.” Tobias then engages George Bluth Sr. in his patented “analysis-therapist” talk therapy regimen, and the two reach a major breakthrough in their tortured relationship.
