I admit it, I’m a sucker for the holidays. A candy cane on top of my peppermint mocha? I won’t say no! Each holiday season brings us joy and laughter—and perhaps, most importantly, holiday coffee blends. This year we wanted to highlight some of our favorite holiday blends—and their unique designs—from coffee roasters big and small around the world.

Counter Culture Coffee rings in the season with its seasonal Iridescent blend in a decorative box (we really appreciated their spring seasonal this year). Bellingham, Washington’s Camber Coffeefeatured earlier this month and Sprudgie Award-nominated—has fun with its Cambrrrr Holiday Blend. We dig the geometric Christmas tree adorning Amavida Coffee Roasters’ Holiday BlendCeremony Coffee Roasters Holiday 2019 has a nice, minimal green going on. Proceeds of Huckleberry Roasters Sister Winter will benefit AProCafé Growers Association. Look closer at Dogwood Coffee’s Snow Emergency for the subtle sloping snowy hill. New York City’s Joe Coffee gets a chance to show off its whole (Sprudgie nominated) new look with the Rockefeller Holiday CoffeeElixr Coffee Roasters Lunar Lander takes us into space (and gives us a lot to think about).

Pilot Coffee Roasters Seasonal Holiday Blend goes minimalist with their design—bold type, red and black—and for every bag sold will donate $1 to The Red Door Family Shelter “supporting families, refugees, and women in need.” Nelsonville, Wisconsin roaster Ruby Coffee rings in the season with their Cheers Holiday Blend. Stumptown Coffee Roasters’ Evergreen is one of our favorites. Verve Coffee Holiday Blend features coffee from Kenya, Ethiopia, and Colombia and offers notes of “candied orange, spiced rum and comforting.” We dig the complementary color choice of peach and orange on the label. Vesta Coffee has a striking label on their Sugar Plum holiday blend of coffees from Ethiopia with notes of “sweet plum, cordial cherry, and hugs”. Intelligentsia Celebration Blend‘s white and blue color scheme is striking in a sea of bright colors.

Coffee Collective, a Sprudgie Nominee for Best Design, goes geometric and green for Julekaffe NolbertoOnyx Coffee Lab “Framily” is gold on gold (and why not?) Partners Coffee Miracle Roast marks the first holiday blend for the freshly-renamed coffee company. Blue Bottle Limited Edition 2019 Seasonal Blends 4-Pack showcases their blend offerings in a beautiful gift set. Olympia Coffee Holiday Blend is part Colombia, part Ethiopia and 100% festive while Equator Coffees Holiday Blend is Colombia, Guatemala, Ethiopia—and very, very red.
