The Fantasy US Barista Championship is back again for 2017. All you have to do is pick your six favorite baristas (that you can afford) and sit back and watch the cash prizes and adoration from all your coffee friends and idol come rolling in. Itโ€™s just that simple!

Back for its second yearโ€”well, itโ€™s third installation if you count the 2016 World Barista Championshipโ€”the Fantasy US Barista Championship works like single-week fantasy football. Each team starts with 15,315 โ€œdollarsโ€ that they use to select six baristas of differing values to fill their rosters. You canโ€™t just pick the top six baristas, you know.

The trick is to find the folks that you think are undervalued. Iโ€™d tell you all of Zacโ€™s Hot Locks for the 2017 season, but they are taking Tech Judge Tina Belcher all the way to the top this time around. The top I say! Baristas are awarded points based on how they score with bonuses given for advancing in the rounds.

Itโ€™s free to play if youโ€™re just looking for the bragging rights. But if you all the glory and make a little extra cash money, youโ€™re going to have to pony up the $5 entry fee. For more information, check out the Fantasy Barista Championship Fantasizr page. Good luck to all. Youโ€™re going to need it to take down the feisty behemoth that is Tech Judge Tina Belcher.
